I now have a very small evap leak and cat code on my 535i. The previous owner replaced the entire valve cover at 80k miles but the dealer just removed it to perform the vanos bolt recall. Do you think the dealer put a small crack in my valve cover or do you think it is some other emissions junk? The fuel injectors got clogged and dumped a lot of fuel into my cats. I believe I have driven 500 miles or so since I replaced all of the injectors and I keep getting an error code for the cat. Do you think it will clear out after some more driving or do I need to source another cat. The o2 sensor code caused by that as well went away. Sadly I will not pass emissions with a cat-less downpipe so I need to find either a used cat or drop the money on high flow catted downpipes.
