I've just put a set of these wheels on my F11. Running 245/35/20 and 285/30/20. The wheels are stunning on the 5.
Harmz, do you have an F10 or F11? I'm about to purchase some Eibach Pro (I feel Sportlines will be too low for me with 20" wheels). If so, did you go down the droplinks or coding route to lower the rear (assuming you have an F11 that is)? |

Lowering by coding is a no-brainer, these are the instructions using INPA:
With INPA installed, connect the cable to the car, ignition on but don't start the car. Start INPA. You will see 2 circles at the top of the screen, battery and ignition, which should go black once you're connected.

bfleming, what a great post, thank you so much for all the steps involved!
I enlisted an Indy garage to code the rear, whilst they installed the Eibach Pro springs on the front axle. However, the rear appears to be sitting even higher than before, having measured the gap before taking it to the garage, Will go back and have them look at it again I think. |
