brake pad warning - reset ?

So i had a brake pad warning, checked rears and they were down so replaced with sensor today, now it says the fronts need checking, but the fronts were chenaged a couple of months ago and i can see there is tons left in them. trying to reset through the dash button just says reset impossible

any ideas?

watching 1 video it says try a battery reset, not sure what that is tbh

I'm no mechanic but when I had my pads changed by a BMW mechanic friend in his garage at his home it would not initially reset. He then noticed that the handbrake was on and rememberd that for some reason the warning won't reset with the handbrake on. Worked fine once he disengaged the handbrake.

Perhaps Google is your friend? There are a number of youtube videos if you search for "bmw brake pad warning reset".

I never posted my update. Had to shell out money to get it reset by BMW shop using computer. This was caused by ME doing things out of cycle: reset first then replace sensor then try to reset again within so many miles...nope...
