The N63 is merciless
Problem of the week: just got the POS out from the auto shop 75 miles ago after a $1,200 repair and now I get the Drivetrain Malfunction/Reduced Power. Had the codes read because my BT cable doesn't seem to work anymore.
See codes below, any idea on this?
PS. I'm soooo close to just dumping this money pit at Carmax. |

Have the faults read out on a legitimate diagnostic tool (ISTA) and report findings, those faults are next to useless without definitions.
That said.. what work was just done? How many miles? What is the current oil level? Is this engine a heavy consumer? Give us less info if possible and focus more on complaining about the car. |

Give us less info if possible and focus more on complaining about the car.- Less info? Okay, next time I'll just spurt out "Shit!" I thought I complained enough in my post but believe me, as an N63 owner I can complain all damn day. |

Yup the N63 engines do suck! Let me know when you're going to Carmax and maybe they'll give us both good deal.

Lol true. I really can't think of a car sub $60k I'd like as much as my 550i (for the purposes I need it for) if it weren't that it usually needs another repair before I'm paying the monthly credit car bill for the last repair.
