Yup mine is sitting at port have no information of shipping vessel yet. As soon as I find out ill let you know I think we will probably be on same boat.

Well my car arrived at the port which is roughly 70 miles from my dealership and I am still waiting for an update. Thought I would of been driving her by now. Now seems to be the hardest wait, no real ETA from SA either.

I was in the same situation as you both yesterday with my car waiting at the port (where I have in my mind that they rent out the back seat to prostitutes and dogs piss on the tires) but this morning it's been updated and my car is on the Don Juan which will arrive in NYC on Aug 28th. I'll bet you are both on it

^^ I really hope you are right!!

there maybe a slight chance we'll get the car for Labor Day weekend but that might be cutting it too close. Figure if it arrives on the 28 the dealers might not get the car until another 2-3days later depending how fast the cars are offloaded.

For everyone who has taken delivery of their car, how long did it take to take delivery after it arrived at your port? It will be 2 weeks the car has been at the port this Friday.

It was 3 weeks for me.

Why so long? Typically unless there is a hold on the car (which there isn't anymore) it takes my dealer 2-3 days once it arrives at the port in NJ to the dealership in Long Island NY.

My vehicle took 10 days from port to the dealer. I hear delays happen at VPC when there is an influx of vehicles, an EPA hold or when they have to fix something that happens during transport. I'm sure it's not the later 2 as folks have taken delivery on 550s already. Probably just an influx of shipments causing the delays. If it was me, I'll be harassing my dealer hourly.

The 550i still had the EPA hold on it so come to think of it, I'm not a good example for a timeline.

Unfortunately I was a fool and asked for the CF Mirror covers to be port installed

guess I was not thinking of how the process works. My guess it was thrown in the pile of every other car needed things to be installed.

I will be calling my SA if I don't hear anything on Friday. Weird how Germany to United States was faster than Baltimore to Fairfax (70-80 miles)

Do you know if they've changed the grill size or just the slats? I'm selling my 2011 550i and wanted to take out my M5 grills and put them on my new 2014.

Man o Man I wish you didn't post that!!! That's exactly how mine is going to look. It's taking so long to take delivery of it, not exactly sure what the hold up is. I got a box of M performance grills waiting to be put on when the car arrives. Also got the M performance CF mirror covers & rear deck spoiler.

Please post close up shots of the black grills when you pick up the car. I want to know if they are the same black ones out now for the pre lci or did they come out with an updated version for the LCI.

Anyone know if the previous F10 M Performance steering wheel is compatible with the new LCI 5 series?

I was told that the airbags have different part numbers but still not 100% certain if they will work or not. I was going to have one ordered with my car and pick it up next week if possible.

Anyone with a LCI M Sport mind taking pictures of your steering wheel please

That would be great if the steering wheel did in fact fit.

Finally I own this piece of machine!! I'm exhausted from work to picking her up then driven it home in traffic but had a chance to finally eat so I took a night picture... Ill be back tomorrow after work with more pics & I'm getting this beast coded by V12!!
