What is this?
Hi All,
in checking out pictures of the 5 series, I noticed a small black circle (highlighted in red). Can anyone tell me what it is? The 2 pics show an AH5 M-Sport and then an F11 525d MSport - both registered in Thailand. From what I've seen, Europe and US cars do not have this(you do get the lovely reflectors though ;-) ). And before you ask, yes, I still have 1-2 months to wait for my car to be delivered and I have nothing better to do in the meantime than stare at F10's all day..... |

They look noticeable on every colour except Black. They are very handy coming out of blind corners and lining up in parking spaces. The very useful yellow lines show the exact front of the car, not where the cameras are.

+1, I have these on silver. Very useful in many situations, I have park assist too but not sure if it uses cameras too. There seems to be 7 cameras on my car. I wish the ones that you are talking about blended in with the bumper a bit more though like the PDC sensors, I know there has to be a lens but this s small compared to the size of the overall camera.
