Are you looking for #3 in the diagram below (for the f10 M bumper)?

Just an FYI, I was looking to do the same to my car, but found out that one cover is vented and the other side cover is solid. On my car I have an oil cooler behind one fog light and an additional radiator behind the other, so by installing these I would be completely blocking airflow to the one side radiator. Unfortunately I haven’t found any of these that have both sides vented.

You’re car may not have something behind each fog light, but just wanted to make you aware if this potential issue.

I believe this is the part number for the right side 51118055134
Left side is the solid one and is part number 51118055133

You can find them online from different shops and on eBay

Thanks for the heads up. I was inquiring the seller on eBay as to why one was vented. Couldn't give me a reason other than that's how they come. What f10 do you currently have? I'm most likely in the same situation. I have 2015 550xi

It's all based on what's behind the grille. Our 2012 base 535i has a "vented" grille on the right and a "blank" grille on the left. You have a cooling "device" behind each grille. You could always buy the blank and drill out the blocked off portion.

So I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to post what I did incase someone is searching for options and comes across this thread. I pulled the fog lights and their trim out, removed the brackets for the fog lights, tucked the wires up, and very carefully used a dremel to cut out all of the inside parts of the trim piece. What I ended up with is just a trim piece that covers the edge of the lower bumper holes. I sprayed the oil cooler radiator and the power steering radiator black and re installed everything.

My 2012 550i has a radiator behind both fog lights so they both had to be open.

Does anyone know if these fog covers are available without the fins? I would prefer a plain mesh look.

What paint did you use? I was thinking of doing something similar

Yes. Will these work on a LCI M Sport bumper? Also, do you have a link?

I used black high heat radiator paint for the radiators and Duplicolor black trim paint for the trims. It's a green can.

I decided that I really like how my car looks with the modified fog light covers and am going to take it another step. I decided that I would make two new trim pieces, but make them deeper and wrap them in real carbon fiber.

So tonight I took two fog covers, trimmed them down with my dremel and began filling them with fiberglass to create the deeper trim piece that will be my skeleton to wrap this weekend. I only did the bottom section, but here's how it's going so far. The carbon fiber fabric and epoxy resin will be going on this weekend so I will hopefully have the skeleton completed by Friday.

I'm contemplating adding the hex grille behind it to protect the coolers. Seems I can get a large sheet of the identical material for around $40, but I just drove almost 1500k miles without them and didnt even have a bug in the coolers so I'm not sure if I want to spend the time plastic welding them into the back or not.

Some pictures during the fiberglass phase. Extending and creating a deeper trim piece to wrap. Next sanding, bondo, sanding, and finally primer. Will be ready to wrap by tomorrow.

Fiberglass and bondo finished. First layer of primer drying. Now it's time to lay the carbon fiber and epoxy

Any updates on this. I'm really liking the progress.

I went ahead and ordered the delete covers shown above.

I thought about using those and may still end up using them.

So I ordered the hex plastic sheet and am going to weld it to the back of the new trim. I dont like how this finished so i am going to redo it again. I think it will look nice when its finally finished.
