Replacing rear shocks and springs

Hi all

I need to replace my driver side rear strut as it has dropped about an inch or so compared to the other side

What brand is recommended? I prefer to keep the floaty boat-like ride

Is there any issue matching say kilen/kyb/lesjofor springs to Sachs shocks?

Are you sure that it isn't a broken spring that needs replacing as it's the spring that controls the height. Broken springs are commonplace now due to the appalling road surfaces in this country.

I need to get under it to take a proper look, the cars sat at 141k miles though so I think they're ripe for changing in any instance
