Twin turbo vs twin scroll turbo feel

Can you guys share some of your experiences with the N55 and N63 engines. Is it true that you won't feel the turbo lag that much in those engines? Also, will the N63 V8 feel that much heavier compared to the N55 straight 6? My wife has a 335i coupe(pre-LCI) and compared to my 545i, my car doesn't feel that much heavier. What about in the F10?

You will feel the weight of the F10, but it is still quite agile. I throw the car around Hong Kong Island south and tailgating a Skyline GTR. The F10 glues to the road but you DO FEEL the weight of the car. But then I have 20" wheels and Pirelli the Hero tyres which probably are way better than stock RFTs......

I'm considering 20" wheels and would be very interested in your opinions. Have you driven an F10 on 18's and, if so, what are the main differences you noticed?
Additionally, what suspension do you have? My 535d M Sport has adaptive drive and whilst I've only driven about 300 miles, I really like the car. However I came from an E92 330d M Sport and I can obviously feel a significant difference in ride and handling. Ideally what I'd like to end up with is the steering feel of the E92; of course I realise that larger rims/lower profile tyres will stiffen the ride, but I have no objection to that as I can revert to Normal or Comfort modes over the rough stuff.

Ride is comfortable with the 20" but I think standard suspension is too soft for the car. Looking to install m-sport suspension or bilstein B16 PSS10 suspensions.....

550i torque is really a pleasant drive of the rear wheels. it does feel like a slightly larger vehicle, but only if you get out of a 535i or 335i.

No turbo lag at all with these engines. amazing, but the power is just avaliable in every aspect of the torque curve on the 35i (300 lbs at 1200rpm) and 50i boasts (450 @ 1750rpms).

The real deal is at 80, 550i is effortless. You can be in 6th gear in a manual and not even need to downshift to pass. truely amazing feel...

rather than speculate of fuel economy, the 35i gives you are 4-5 miles to the gallon...
