This is a just a post to let others know that a forum member here named f10upgrader is falsely advertising products and shipping empty boxes I went through his posts and found he has done it to other members as well. Although we all have to be smart before giving members money for items sucks people try to cheat you out of hard earned money. His email is grimbud@hotmail.com number is 4046636087 and i looked up his address as well I wont disclose that here.

Yeah there are lots of scammers on this site selling air and ripping people off. Make sure dont send any money, just link up a paypal option to be safe.

EVEN if they have a reputation that is good, posts etc.. DO NOT EVER VENMO or ZELLE! No instant bank to bank transfers.

Do Paypal or other secured ways of checking out.

Please do not fall for Zelle like i did.

I was pretty pissed when a box showed up with nothing inside but bubble wrap and bolts wish I could strangle this kid but definitely an expensive lesson that hopefully others wont have to go through

This behavior is sickening! We all have a passion and respect for BMW's and one would think that would cascade to the owners! Buyer beware, yes! Thankfully, the majority of the members of this forum are fair and honest people who are kind enough to sell products and share a wealth of information!

I got a message responding to a tread I posted for sale from someone that clearly has no grasp of the English language. Guys trust your instincts. Buy from members that have posted multiple treads and have high itrade ratings.

The other thing to keep in mind, they don't necessarily own a BMW just because they are on here. If a person was a scammer, they're likely savvy enough to create a fake account on a site where people likely have money (A BMW site).

Agreed but hindsight is always 20/20 best advice I can give is if a deal is too good to be true it probably is guy was supposedly selling me a downpipe that's $400 new for $200 so I was too busy thinking it was a great deal and tried to grab it that should have been my first red flag but nothing else stood out immediately as fraudulent I'm also pretty new to this forum so I've learned my lesson real fast won't happen again

Yea I knew this guy was a scammer when he was spamming about VSRF product. I checked his stats and info after the post and saw that he just joined this month and all the tread he started was things for sale. Things got fishy to me when he'd trying to sell that DP for half the price on the f30 forum. I think he also goes by iwannagofast because he posted the same post under f10upgrader spamming VSRF. I called him out on it and within a day he edited and changed his post and thread title and never posted again.

I always do forums transactions through paypal to get that buyer/sellers protection. There is a fee going through PayPal but I always pass it on to the buyer to pay for the fee.

I know it's a lesson learned but hope you get your money back.

Venmo actually offers refund protection now. 2.5% fee.

Yea I saw you had the same problem after I started going through his posts when i got suspicious. And yea I'm down send me a pm I used his number and email to find his city his address parents names all that hes 24 his name is Garrison I believe.

I'm with it trust me dude lives in georgia though im in ny so even if I go there and beat his ass I won't get my $200 back and Ill be out probably another $200 to travel there. I believe he sent empty boxes to everyone. (Including me) I've actually been talking to him and he legit thinks this is ok and he even said he's going through some stuff and can't argue back and forth. LOL.

As everyone has said, if it's too good to be true.....

Weird. Was gonna buy a product from someone and I sent him my email to send a PayPal. Than he sends me a picture of his PayPal being suspended and said if I wanna do Venmo? Pay half than pay the other half when i received it. Sound like a scam to you?

Yeah, Garrison has a criminal history. When I found his addresses to work on filing on a police report, he scammed someone on sneakers and was taken to small claims court.

There is a darker side too including an arrest with battery, assault, and other violent charges. He is a low-life shit stain so I don’t know why would be talking to him, talk to the police, I sent you the info I had.

Thanks for the info. Was just trying to talk him out of being an idiot and return everyone's money. Obviously that didn't work.
