How to disable CAS (Comfort Closing) feature in F10?
help Needed...
Car: F10, Year: 2014 My passenger door sensor has gone faulty and the comfort closing feature does not work. (the doors do not lock/ unlock on touching the door handle). This issue is causing a battery drain; as I guess the sensor is working overtime and draining the battery. The fix is to replace the door module - but the wait time to get the parts from Germany is about 8 weeks (colour code match, etc... being the main issue). I was thinking a temporary fix may be to disable the Comfort Closing feature by coding - but I have not been able to find the parameter in the CAS module or elsewhere. Anyone knows how to disable CAS via Esys coding? shawnsheridan - Any guidance?

You could just unplug the offending handle...

Try using the feedback link (at the bottom) on the newtis home page and ask for a login. That's what I did. Other than that, I'd have to use email. |
