Hey 5Post Community.

i have'nt been on here since my e90 335i xD

I just ordered a new 16 535xi in space grey M Sport

Its going to be arriving in 2-3 weeks and i want to get started on my customization.

so far i'm positive that i want a carbon fiber rear lip (spoiler) and most definitely an exhaust / intake.

I been browsing around for Carbon Fiber Spoilers i havent really seen anythign im crazy about, could anyone steer my in the right direction? Im looking for kinda a CSL look.

As far as exhausts go obviously i took a look at the eisenman race exhaust. It does come in quad tips or Dual Tips... Idk what to get, i was thinking dual cause it saves me the $ and the hassle of having to change out the stock M Sport Diffuser , unless someone knows if they have cut it and made it fit while still looking nice???

Then the Eisenmann is around 2500 while the Dinan Free FLow is only 1k. I've been listening to videos of both and they both sound great, so not sure what i should end up going with.

Then as far as intakes go i was thinking perhaps a BME Performance INtake?

what are you're thoughts / opinions.

this is the only carbon fiber CSL style available for the F10 from what i've seen...unless you just want the spoiler only than i have seen anything close other than maybe the Vorsteiner.

really for your exhaust you're gonna have to decide on how loud or tame you want your exhaust to be. also, depending on what you're budgeting for. prices can go anywhere from custom exhaust $500 all the up to $3500+. than after you decide that than you can figure out what diffuser is going to work best for you. alot of it has to do with how much time you spend searching and browsing until you think you found something you like. mods are such a broad platform it's hard to decide what you like compared to someone else

i dont want to replace the whole trunk just the lip. it's a lease afterall so im not trying to go super crazy

i got the M SPort Line so it already comes with a diffuser. i was thinking if i get the single exhuats vs dual i dont need to change the diffuser which will save me some $ that i can put on a better exhaust.

the 2 i've liked so far are the Dinaan and Eisemann Race Exhaust -- although i havent seen the eisenmann with dual tips vs quads but im assuming it looks good.

where is good to get just the lips that you put on with tape or appoxy

i checked mod bargains but wasnt crazy about anything

do you have any input on Eisennman Race Single Pipes vs Dinan???

the dinan is like 1500$ less and while i dont mind paying extra at the end of the day the car is just a LEASE.

You can buy a stock diffuser for a 550 from another member for cheap and go with the quad setup if that is what you prefer. I think most people go for the quad setup when doing exhaust

When i installed my Carbon fiber 3d style spoiler I used Betalink instead of double sided tape due to my previous Vorsteiner spoiler was not staying down. With the Betalink I got it down pretty flush and even when you press down on it it doesn't feel like it's going to give like the double sided tape did.




As far as exhaust Eisemann has been out for awhile while Dinan just released there's this year. From guys who posted here regarding the Dinan's they were a bit disappointed with how tame the exhaust note is. Also, the Dinan from what I last remember is only an axle back exhaust and only comes in single tip. I've only heard good things with Eisemann. For me I have the EVC Meisterschaft quad 90mm tips with carbon fiber slip on tips. I will be able to open and close with my remote.

from what ive seen its hard to find a used 550i difusser on here, and to buy a rep or new is over 500$

i think i will just go with the single pipe exhausts .. theres really no reason for quad anyways

i think im going to go with just dual 3.5 or 4 inch tips.. im not loving the quads, it is sick dont get me wrong but dont want to be mistaken for an m5.
