Missed My Girl

So the family and I loaded up the Mercedes GL and headed to the in-laws for the holidays. After a few days in Alabama at their ranch out in the country, we went to a small town in TN called La Follette where we rented a cabin on Norris Lake. The 4MATIC on the GL came in very handy driving up and down the mountains in the rain and I was glad we had it. She's comfy on the highway and the big V8 can handle anything I ask of her, she's just not fun.
Having returned home late Monday night, and having a business trip scheduled for Tuesday, the first time I was able to drive my F10 was on the way to the airport. Damn I missed my girl! With temps still hovering around 40 degrees here in MD, she is pulling really strong and I don't know if it's the N63 Intakes or just simply the cooler temps, but my butt dyno is convinced she's running stronger now.
Just got home from the airport and the ride home confirmed the cooler temps and the new intakes make COMFORT mode feel almost like SPORT. I didn't put in SPORT at all and she was pulling like crazy and thankfully I didn't pulled over feeling myself this evening.
The performance mods are coming, but for now...I'm giddy without them!

Haha that's awesome. I had the same feeling after I took a week trip to Houston.

I hear the same thing, everynight before i go upstairs, my routine is to check the doors to make sure they are locked, and part of that is opening the door to the garage making sure everything is ok in there and then going upstairs...lol

its been in the high 30's/40's here at night and its been nice driving the 550i in those temps, it seems way more responsive, and I still haven't installed my intakes.

Ha Ha! Yeah, I find myself looking back at mine at least twice whenever I park it in a parking lot, or in my garage!

I noticed the same with my car (N63intakes) and the thing pulls like crazy in these colder temperatures.
