Any Reasonable Powder Coaters In New England?
Hey guys,
I'm looking into getting a set of wheels, but may end up buying a set and powder coating them to a better color. Any recommendations in the MA (or new england) area? The first 2 places I called quoted me $185 and $195 per wheel for a stage 1 coating (primer & 2 coats color, no clear), which seemed a bit high to me but I have never had anything powdered before. Most threads I have seen people are paying between 75-150 (mostly on the west coast). These will be brand new 20" wheels for reference. Thanks for any help

In case anyone is interested:
I ended up going with Nationwide Powder Coating in Methuen MA. By far the best price I could find around here. Finish seems to have come out well, time will tell how good the quality is once I mount them. Facility was nice, customer service was hit and miss. After having my wheels for a week they call and ask which black I want (matte or gloss), after I had already specified I wanted a semi gloss/satin black. They tried to change my mind so they could use one they had in stock, but eventually obliged and the wheels were done the following day. Price was $100 per wheel, plus a $10 waste fee. So $410 out the door for my 20" wheels done in satin black. Overall, I would recommend them if price is a concern, as most places quoted me $185-$225 per wheel in the same area. Quality looks good, hopefully it holds up over time. Will post a photo for reference shortly
