Courtesy light when locking the car?
Hello guys, I have an F10 MY2012 and have something which bothers me in a while. I got the courtesy light feature on my car, however, it appears that it only works when I unlock the car and I also can turn it on from the key fob. My question is if someone knows how I can possible program it to work let's say when outside is dark and I lock the car, so it can automatically turn it on when I am leaving the vehicle and getting back home?

After you shut the car off, pull (or push, can't remember which BMW works each way, my 2 are different from each other I think f10 is pull though) the directions signal/high beam stalk and they'll go on for the time you set in idrive.

Oh, okay, didn't know that! Thank you very much! Anyway, If someone knows how I can possibly code it to do it automatically when is dark, that would be awesome. I have some experience with BimmerCode, but couldn't seem to find it in the menu as a coding option.

Ditto wrickem...you can set the length of time you want the "pathway" lights to stay on in iDrive...then when ever you want to use them (when its dark) you just flick your turn indicator. BMW uses this approach instead of them ALWAYS coming on even when you are parking in a well illuminated lot or garage and have kind strangers trying to get your attention that you left your lights on.
