Does anyone know where in ESYS to code out the Tail Lights as DRL. I only want them on as parking lights and when the headlights are on. But in the '0' position I want the tails off.

Position 0 is DRL.
Option 8TL is Front and Rear DRL

That's not what I was referring to. That has nothing to do with coding the ECU. Thanks though!

I figured it out. I changed

FRM Module
3050->DRL_MODUS
to
DRL_S_ohne_SL

• Option 8TM = (Front Only) Day Running Lights
• Option 8TN = (Front) DRL's with IDrive Toggle
• Option 8TL = Front & Rear DRL's

FDL Coding (DRL_MODUS):

• nicht_aktiv = 00 (DRL disabled)
• drl_h = 01 (via highbeam, halogen U.S. without lights)
• drl_l = 02 (via low beam)
• drl_s = 03 (front & rear; U.S. Xenon/LED (rings + bottom))
• tfl_s = 04 (front & rear; ECE Xenon/LED (rings + bottom))
• tfl_ece = 05 (North Country Comfort)
• drl_s_ohne_sl = 06 (US; ohne = without, SL = taillight)
• tfl_s_ohne_sl = 07 (ECE; ohne = without, SL = taillight)

Yeah. I didn't want to change the FA. I already knew how to do that.

I only wanted to code the FRM ECU.

Anyone know how to code the drls to work? Mine doesnt seem to have the drl option on idrive so i have to drive with parking lights position. I have esys...I want the drls on both front and back.Anyone with a cheat sheet?

Hi guys,

I did the switch over and no coding was required iirc. On my 2011 f10. The only thing i cant get working like the Lci models, is with drl headlamps on(rear tails off), WHEN BRAKING the rear led strips come on at same time with brake leds.

The Lci cars , rear brake lamps come on WITHOUT led strips. Not sure how i can code this? Ive done many searches and attempts with bimmercode without much success…..

Hi, may I ask if you managed to find a solution by chance ? I have the same issue on my 2012 F10. When DRLs are set to front angle eyes ON alone, when braking, the rear led strips come on together with the brake leds. Would like to code it similar to LCI models... when braking only the brake leds come on.. not the full taillight. Thx in advance.
