Hello,
This is my first post, And my first BMW. Love the car, but like others hate the stereo.
I have done lots of searching, I wanted to use Bavsound as they offers upgrades to the rear speakers as well, But I am in the UK, So Cant get them.

So I am keen on the Focal IFBMW-C or IFBMW-S, As the price is just about right.
Budget is around £500.

Has anyone installed these Focals in the rear of a saloon? If not, Are there any other companies that you recommend selling a 4 speaker upgrade.

Or is it really necessary to upgrade the rears? I am not an audiophile!

I have the basic speaker package, NOT the HK.

Choosing Focal IFBMW with AMP is not a great idea in the basic speaker package...
You should consider a AMP, at leat, something like Focal Impulse 4.320.

But yes, rear speakers in basic package (like mine) sucks.

Thanks for the reply. Why do you suggest its not a good idea running The Focal with an amp? Although, I thought I didn't have one with the standard system. And don't plane to install one.
I have read allot of posts over the weekend, and have decided to just upgrade the fronts and the subs with IFBMW.

I did look at The MB Quarts QM-200.3 as these are half the cost, but they are now discontinued, which puts me off.

Edit: I think I have read your post incorrectly. I take it you are recommending running with the focal amp. So I'll check it out. Need to find out how easy it is to install.

Just thought I would update this for anyone else thinking of upgrading:
