Xhd trans tune?

Has anyone been in or driven any car that has the xhd trans flash done? I have a 13 535xi with the MHD tune, intake and msport exhaust.

Really looking forward to this mod for more driving fun.

Any feedback?

Yes but 6HP and 8HP transmissions are completely different so how good XHP for 6HP is doesn't mean much for 8HP. 8HP is already much better than 6HP so less potential for improvement. The best features will be torque limit increase and gear number display in D IMO.

Today XHP released their tune for business partners. It will become available for customers this friday.

If anyone install this tune let us know how it feels etc.

Today our xHP Pro Partners got their hands on our first 8HP Maps, which we are very proud of! Nearly 9 months of development and mapping are now being released and pave the way to making the ZF 8-Speed even greater than it already was.
Our maps not only feature basic stuff like removing Torque Limiters and improving shift times, but they substantially change the character of the whole car.

The Stage 1 map takes care of everything you need to have when running an engine tune on your car. If you are plagued by the dreaded 3rd and 6th gear torque limit, but want to retain 100% stock behaviour, this is the map to go.

The Stage 2 map is a massive re-design and lets you access hidden shift programs and gives the driver maximum freedom of choice. We invested a lot of time in reversing the code and unlocking hidden gems. The redefined setup is now behaving similar like in M-Cars where you can freely configure the shift-speeds in 3 levels, no matter if you are in D, S or M mode. You can always select your preferred shift program and combine it with the speed and firmness you like. Off course the calibration is launch control enabled and adds features like staying in Sport-Mode, even with Traction Control turned off. Our Tip: Set your transmission in D+Sport for a totally new daily drive experience! Super-Fast but smooth, combined with an aggressive exhaust note during shifts + a bit of burbles on downshifts.

The Stage 3 map has all the features of the prior Stages, but adds a bit of excitemtent to your S+SportPlus mode. Put your gear lever into S and select Sport+ with the DEC switch to be ready for maximum acceleration. This mode has only goal: Maximize acceleration and shift like a racing driver would do it. If you are engaged in roll-racing or drive on a race-track, just set your transmission to S+SportPlus and it will take care of the rest and extract maximum acceleration out of your car all the time.

How is this going to work on cars without the dec switch?

This is the official information on all three maps for 535i:

535i Sedan Stage 1
- Added Gear-Display in D-Mode
- Removed Torque Limiters in 3rd and 6th Gear
- Raised Line Pressure in high torque situations (> 442 ftlb)

535i Sedan Stage 2
- Added Gear Display in D-Mode
- Removed 3rd and 6th Gear Torque Limit
- Raised Line-Pressure mapping for high-input torque
- Reconfigured DEC Logic, with similar logic as in M-Cars (access to more shifting-modes)
- Even faster shifting in M/Sport+, absolutely instant paddle response
- Recalibrated Shift-Points in D & S Mode to improve throttle response
- No automatic upshifting in M/Sport+ setting
- Transmission keeps the current set mode when DSC is turned off
- Launch Control enabled (update of DSC, DME eventually necessary as well on 2012 cars)
- Retains full ECO - Mode functionality including Coasting

535i Sedan Stage 3
Additionally to Stage 2:
- Recalibrated S/Sport+ mode for Roll-Racing and Race-Track use. The transmission keeps the engine in the upper rev range all the time and shifts on the Race-Track like an experienced Racing-Driver. All other modes are unaffected and are 100% suiteable for daily use.

Rest of the Setup very similar to Stage 2:

- Added Gear Display in D-Mode
- Removed 3rd and 6th Gear Torque Limit
- Raised Line-Pressure mapping for high-input torque
- Reconfigured DEC Logic, with similar logic as in M-Cars (access to more shifting-modes)
- Even faster shifting in M/Sport+, absolutely instant paddle response
- Recalibrated Shift-Points in D & S Mode to improve throttle response
- No automatic upshifting in M/Sport+ setting
- Transmission keeps the current set mode when DSC is turned off
- Launch Control enabled (update of DSC & DME eventually necessary as well on 2012/2013 cars)
- Retains full ECO - Mode functionality including Coasting

From what I can understand stage 2 and 3 offers the ability to turn DSC completely and remain in sport/sport+ without changing the mode set to normal. If this is true its awesome

Looks like launch control only offered on 2012+ models.

Heres my review. Currently customed tuned, E85, FBO,PS2, Sprint booster, EOS FP Module, Precion Raceworks Stg2 pump and XHP Stg 3, .
Regular driving you will hit 8th gear VERY QUICK. Especially if your on the highway. Once in SPORT + the car is an animal. The gears switch so dam quick. This mod is great for dig racing as your able to stay in boost while switching gears with minimal lag. Havent tried the other stages yet and dont think i plan on it. Well worth the $350. I flashed using my Galaxy Note 8 and K-DCAN USB attached to it via USB-C. Took me 7mins to install and 2 Mins to flash stg 3. No battery tender
