I sent an email to VRSF asking them if I had received the correct hardware (with pics of hardware I received with the intercooler) but no reply.

He must have checked all the remaining boxes and probably found out that supplier messed up. Check if your mechanic can do welding. He can probably make his own brackets.

Why weren't these quality control checked by Tiago himself, BEFORE sending to customers? Simply have them sent to you, double check everything, and send them out yourself. Last edited by neejay; 02-18-2019 at 11:45 PM.. |

On a whim, I contacted Wagner. They replied on 2/14 with their screw size (m6x16) and I purchased m6x15 from Home Depot and modified one of the incorrect brackets. I've been running the VRSF since then with good results.
I've been contacted by Tiago a few days ago stating the correct screws have been shipped, but not the correct brackets yet. Last edited by neejay; 03-05-2019 at 06:56 AM.. |

How hard was it to modify the bracket? |

I bent my brackets slightly to make it work. I was contacted by Tiago via email and he promised to send the correct hardware.

Hey man, I can't even remove the stock IC due to the oil cooler hose on the drivers side. Did this pose as an issue with you too? I could und clips and all that but the damn hose kept getting in the way.
