It's starting to sound more like a "screw everybody with a tune package" then a customer service package. Something in the update is really jacking up tune ability.

For the trade in offer, is it just on New BMW's or can we use it on CPO BMW's too?

Im looking at a 2010 m3 thats not from a BMW dealer. Wondering if the "trade in offer" would apply the 2500 dollar credit or however much it is to this purchase. Any suggestions anybody?

I'm pretty sure that the credit is an incentive specifically towards the purchase of a new BMW. Therefore, used cars wouldn't qualify.

No chance they would credit you toward another dealer...

Finally got the call that my parts are in so the car is going in this morning. Hopefully all goes well and the car is running right after completion.

I was ready to take mine in 1st week of Jan, but decided to look at the new M3. Dealer gave a me a pretty good trade in amount for the 2012 550i and I was able to order the M3 with the options i wanted (6 speed Manual). With the $1000 credit for N63 campaign I got the M3 at invoice and it came in last Fri!

For the folks taking in their car for the N63 campaign, good luck. Stay on top of your dealer, if after the work is done it still doesn't run right, take it back, it sounds like they already revised the amount of parts they are replacing since they opened this campaign.

The way I understand it, the N63 rebate is on a New car not used or CPO.

So I was told by my SA that my service will take two visits. The first visit they'll only assess and see what parts are needed for replacement. They said they are short of parts... And then the second visit will be the work.

Kinda of a hassle, but as long as they get it done right, don't mind the trouble I have to go through...

In St. Louis Missouri, my dealer had me turn my car in at 9:30 am on Tuesday and I got it back Wednesday 2:00. They said they serviced everything except the timing chain. I was driving the crap out of the loaner they gave me so I was thinking they probably didn't even service my car and just told me to pick it up and figured how would I know if parts were exchanged.

But then again, there's probably not much traffic in this dealer. I have only seen 1 other 550i in my area and through other parts of St. Louis. So is it possible to get my car serviced this quickly?

What's the quickest you guys think some bmw technicians can swap out all of these parts (except timing chain) with no other cars to work on?

You should ask them to show you all the old parts they took out. But this is a dealer, I can't imagine they don't do anything to your car and then claim that they did though..

Yes. 2012 550i. My car was at McKenna BMW for 17 days for the customer campaign. Picked up my car and drove it for a few days to gauge the repair work. Everything seemed fine so I installed my BMS stage 1 and then took the car from LA to SD. Car drives like a monster again and pulls really hard. No problems whatsoever.

I may install stage 1 and then make sure that works first and then put the stage 2 on. Waiting for some better weather and my OBD II scanner to arrive before I attempt.

Running aggressive settings? Also do you have a BT cable or OBD II scanner to clear codes?
