For sale here is a genuine OEM BMW ///M Performance exhaust system for BMW F10 535i / 535i xDrive.

Exhaust system includes both left and right rear mufflers and exhaust tips. Mufflers have about 15K miles on them. The mufflers were modified with quad tips, but I'm also including the original 80mm chrome-plated exhaust tips (still new).

Let me see if I can dig one up. I had them on my F06 640i GC (which it also fits), but I removed them over two years ago. They've been collecting dust ever since.

I got them from a local muffler shop (Mesa Muffler) in Costa Mesa, CA.

I hear this all the time, but my genuine 18-30-2-293-447 does drone. Quite a bit.

This part # being sold on this thread is the revised part that started being sold just a year later around 2012. I have a theory - everyone says the two 535i part numbers "are the same" but I think they're different.

Either my 18-30-2-293-447 was damaged by one of the previous owners and is now extra loud (no evidence of damage or tampering), or BMW toned down the revised version (which this thread is selling). If this was local to me I would snap it up myself to do a first hand comparison.

I'd love to be shown how mine was installed incorrectly. Considering I can reverse back to the factory exhaust with the same clamp set up and it's (annoyingly) whisper quiet again. Cut at the mark, hang and clamp - not that complicated, not touching anything, not leaking. I've been switching back for winters since there's no fun, windows down driving to be had anyways. I just switched back to factory again last week.

So, for anyone considering purchase - DIY install of M PE is pretty easy. I borrowed a chain link "exhaust pipe cutter" tool from a local auto store and did the work on ramps in my driveway. There are marks already on the exhaust system for where to cut. I can change out both sides in under a half hour including gathering tools, fiddling with ramps and cleanup.

Were you able to find any pics?

Also, I notice the tips face inward... is that because the fitment/angle on the 640i is different than on the 535i? I can't seem to find pictures of the exhaust without mods online...

I can't speak to any mods, but the mufflers sit at an angle under the car, so inlet and exit pipes are also at an angle. Not sure if that's all you're seeing...
