Map 2018-2, no longer sluggish

After updated to the 2018-2 map today, I tried a few random addresses, some via voice input, some via manual entry and some by shortcut keys - the iDrive seems to be back to "normal" speed, now reacting as fast as the 2017-2 maps. It now longer waits ages to give the first guidance.

Therefore the 2018-2 maps is worth the update, at least it looks like it solved the 2018-1 map's sluggish problem.

I didn't encounter any problem, using a 128GB MicroSD card with a USB adapter.

Is your USB in FAT32? (NTFS or other file system won't work) and is it 64GB capacity or more? (32 GB is not big enough)

On my vehicle i downloaded the latest map from connected drive (2018-2) for my F10 (65 reg). I just extracted the files to a hard drive (NTFS) and updated the maps successfully.... The next day when i was searching for music (this is when you can have a CD and copy the disc to the internal BMW hard drive) it was slow.... not sure if anyone else had this issue?

Im thinking of backing up my music to a USB then reformatting the hard drive but not sure if this would cure the issue.

I dont believe this issue has anything to do with RTTI as i have this service for another month.
