Headlight washers

Hi,
Has anyone had a problem with the headlight washers on a 2012 530d F07
They were working fine a few weeks ago but now nothing.
my local garage said to check relay, went to main dealer but was told No Relay but may need a new Headlight washer control unit. Has anyone got any opinions on this.

Washer pump for headlight washer system

https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...ystem/C2N8jquL

"The junction box electronics (JBE) or the front electronic module (FEM) or the Body Domain Controller (BDC) activates the washer pump for the headlight cleaning system via a relay in the corresponding power distribution box."

Thanks John,

looks like a diagnostics is needed going by you information. I will book it in and post back the outcome. sounds expensive either way.

Hi Tommy. I advise to check the basics...eg., fuse, connectors, fluid level, etc. I could be as simple as such. Maybe the pump has gone out?

If you are handy with a VOA meter, here is the electrical schematic for the system...

Cheers.
