JB4 N55 Version 2 Control Board
Was receiving "Increased Battery Discharge" warnings this morning and contacted Terry @ BMS. He says I should upgrade to the new v2.0 control board to fix this (has internal power), and that it has other advancements as well.
Anyone have experience with changing to v2.0 how ez it is to do, and if it feels different? |

Did you end up replacing the control board? I am having a similar issue and received the same response from Terry. But have no idea what's involved in the upgrade.

you have to send in your JB4 unit to Burger Motorsports and they go ahead and upgrade the board, replace harnesses if needed, etc... They basically bring it up to date and send you an invoice for it. Obviously you want to contact Support for it prior to just sending a random JB4 to them, lol. Last person I knew that did this update with them got it back within the week! But this was a couple years ago.

I asked if the new board gives me anything other than fixing a potential current draw issue (that I am not even sure is caused by the JB4), and he said no. It was really developed only to redesign the electrical power system. Here's my post from that forum: https://www.jb4tech.com/forum/model-...jb4#post826943 |
