Stage 1:
- Optimized D Shiftpoints to facilitate sporty, yet economy style driving - Optimized Shift Strategy for up/downhill driving
- Optimized Warmup Behaviour
- Optimized Torque Converter Lockup in 1st/2nd/3rd gear
- Lowered minimum RPM limit manual mode
- Adapted Torque Limits for Tuned engines
- Gear Display in Dash in D/S/M Modes (where supported)

Stage2:
- Optimized D & S Shiftpoints for better acceleration in part and full throttle situations - Firmer, sportier upshifts in D/S/M mode
- Faster paddle response time
- Optimized Shift Strategy for up/downhill driving
- Optimized Warmup Behaviour
- Optimized Torque Converter Lockup in 1st/2nd/3rd gear - Raised Torque Limits for Tuned engines
- Gear Display in Dash in D/S/M Modes (where supported)

Stage 3:
- Optimized D & S Shiftpoints for better acceleration in part and full throttle situations - Race-like upshifts with TQ increase
- Shift times approx. 50% faster in S/M Modes
- Shift times approx. 25% faster in D Mode
- True Manual mode (no automatic upshift in M mode)
- Automatic Rev-Matching (Throttle – Blip) on Downshifts in S/M Modes - Faster paddle response time
- Optimized Shift Strategy for up/downhill driving
- Optimized Warmup behavior
- Optimized Torque Converter Lockup in 1st/2nd/3rd gear
- Even more raised Torque Limits for Tuned engines
- Gear Display in Dash in D/S/M Modes (where supported)

This TCU tunning includes other things such as torque converter lockup to avoid the transmission slipping, torque raise, faster shifts, etc. It should make the car even more fun with this flash.
And this hasn't released yet correct ?

For our cars not yet. However they said on fb that it will be available on Jan 21 2019. The whole app will be re-written from scratch including f10 535i compatibility.

Grats! I hope they test this TCU flash tune with most popular DME tunes to avoid issues.

I might be misinterpreting this post, but paddle response is shifting gears whereas Sprintbooster is throttle response...different things

I believe ramped up paddle response probably equals to faster throttle repsonse.

Paddle is what opens the throttle so it complements each other I think.

I think we are thread jacking OP post and changing his post from FMIC to xhp TCU tunning. But anyway this tune sound awesome, hope we get it soon.

I believe faster paddle response refers to shift paddles which means quicker shift time when changing gears like downshifting or upshifts.
-Automatic Rev-Matching (Throttle – Blip) on Downshifts in S/M Modes - Faster paddle response time

I don't see the tune saying faster pedal response because it would mean quicker throttle response.

Paddle - shift paddle - quicker shift time (xhp tune)
Pedal - gas pedal - faster throttle response (sprint booster)

As for OP post, it is worth getting fmic even on stage 1.

Winter it will be fine but summer time you just blowing hot air.

Thanks guys, and no worries about the thread jack bc I'm to blame for helping jack my own thread. Agree with Ramen - xhp and Sprintbooster should make for a nice combo

Sprintbooster is totally unnecessary. You can set the throttle however you want it in a custom DME tune. Even so, the sport mode throttle is already pretty touchy and I wouldn't want to lose more controllability/linearity than that.

Now xHP can actually help with times with fast shifts in theory.

You forgot to add "...in my opinion." There are plenty of threads with tons of people that feel differently.

Nope it's not an opinion. You can do exactly the same thing in the DME tune without needing to intercept the accelerator pedal signal.

Ok...how about this non-opinion: DME tune for throttle response is totally unnecessary. You can do exactly the same thing with a Sprintbooster without needing to tune the DME.

I have a flash tune so your saying with that Sprint booster is pointless and I shouldn't get it ?

1) Be sure you actually know what you don't like about the relationship between certain accelerator positions and torque output, both in comfort and sport modes. Note it's different between the two.

2) Have a tuner set up the relationship between accelerator pedal position and torque output to your liking.
