Gear Indicator Coding

Good Morning Everyone

Is it possible to code in the Gear display to show D1-8 S1-8 I have a 13 535I I coded in 2TB for sport auto so the number shows up when I push the lever to manual mode and it will show S1-8 and M1-8 but if I am just in Sport or Sport + without pushing the selector over I just get D with "Sport" Next to the D. I would like to have it always display what Gear I am in regardless of the mode if possible. Thanks in Advance for any help. I have Full E-SYS and ISTA on my laptop and know my way around both.

Short answer... not possible. Just like we can't get the gear displayed in the HUD.

Xhp or mission trans flash will do this

Agree - xHP gives this result. As did/does Alpina TCU flashes. Not sure on BM3 TCU flash.

Can confirm that BM3 transmission tune does not do this.
