My dad drove a 2004 Saab 9-5 for three years. It was the first European car we had in the family and was wildly different from the GM products we were used to (he was an engineer at GM at the time).

I found my dad's 9-5 to be a tad ugly, but the 9-3 always tugged at my heart strings. I thought it was beautiful and honestly still looks great to this day. That was a beautiful car.

So true. The 93's interior was also far more beautiful than the 95 - just the perfect balance of modern and classic Saab design language. It was disheartening when GM started swapping in Chevy and Pontiac bits in the refresh though somewhere around 2005/2006.

I've owned a Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes, Volvo and VW after that 93 and it was still by far my favorite car to ever own. But the 550i easily took that crown :-)

1969 Firebird. I loved that car. I got it in 1977 when I was 16 years old. I bought it from Dave Carter for $600.

Purchased in 1970 at a total cost of $500. Bought if from a co-worker of my mother using my McDonald's 1.65/hour minimum wage earnings.

1968 VW Bug with a custom red and black paint job. I was 18 and it was 1973. Sadly, no pics.

It was something like this but mine was not as nice as this one. Same wheels, though.

My first car was my mom's Toyota Corolla. My first enthusiast car was an RSX S in Blaze Orange Metallic. First manual too.

I bet you did. I lost out on a 69 Firebird with a 396 4 spd. Beautiful body style and always sad I couldn't get it. I did snag a numbers matching 1980 Vette 4 spd now and loving that.

An good old 1999-2002 Volvo S40 2.0T Grey i remember it was. Remember also the old lady who bought after me later on called me a couple of months later to tell me how glad she was to be driving around in such a clean and tidy car.

Always was a clean freak with my cars. Looked something like that although not this car. Wish i had my laptop from back then filled with so many pictures of cars from different car meets and races that were back then.

1990 Honda Civic Si, 5-speed manual, high revving 108hp Inline-4, amazing road feel because no power steering but didn't need it because only ~1,000 kg. Don't have a photo anymore but looks exactly like in this...
