N55 Drivetrain malfunction, Please Help!

Recently my 2011 bmw 535i with high mileage has been having issues with jerking aswell as shifting from 1st to 2nd when starting in the morning… today I was driving and I got a drivetrain malfunction and then my engine stalled as I was coming to a stop. After starting the engine again, it threw another drivetrain malfunction code and stalled again. Can anyone help me figure out this issue? I’m pretty sure that it has threw this code before it was due to a fuel issue, if that helps.

Is there any oil on drive belt that you can detect and/ or condition of drive belt in general?

I have a 2011 535i as well, had the same jerking issue and got the drivetrain malfunction sign. Eventually the car would go into drive and reverse, but would only rev. My transmission went out and had to get it replaced.

Without a code its a guessing game. stalling can be many things.

Try unplugging your maf sensor on your intake and see if the issue goes away. Thats really the only free thing that's easy to do.
