H&R Lowering Springs Any Good for F07 550i GT

Are the H&R Lowering Springs any good for the F07 550i GT. Is the ride quality still comfortable (at least in Comfort Mode), and are they good quality springs.
I know they lower the car nicely, does anyone have a picture of a 550i GT lowered with them. Please post them here. Thanks!

I installed H&R sport springs on my 535XI 2013 M sport. the ride is still comfortable, the comfort feel is gone just a tiny bit. the main improvement is the steering feel and how tight the car feels now. btw, love the dropped look, so much better

any car would look better when lowered.

H&R f07

Hi!

Sorry to be digging an old post. I was thinking of purchasing a set of H&R springs for my 2010 F07 535d but the BMW dealer said that the rear links may cause too much stress on the (problematic by itself) pneumatic suspension due to higher compression. What is your opinion? How has it been, for you that installed it, on the long run?
Another aspect was related to the installation, is a regular mechanic able to install them?

Thank you!!
Best regards!

Not a problem yet here and it's been about 7 months. The fronts are standard coils which any mechanic can install. The rear links are super easy and either a mechanic can install or you can do it yourself. I had mine installed professionally and later removed the rears myself to adjust the height (all the way down). You basically replace the stock static ones and replace with the adjustable H&R ones (2 nuts/bots on each). Front coils are pretty straight forward as well. Use the diy for F10's, it's the same setup for the front. Honestly, my ride is rougher than stock height but that's expected. It rides more like a base model F10 than an air shock F07.

You can also get custom links from adjustableairride.com. Contact John and tell him TheBlackGT sent you. They're very nice custom machined aluminum links that are totally adjustable for how low or high you want to go.

Any mechanci should be able to install like ndinh said. Just like a regular spring setup up front, and the links only take a few minutes.
