Harmon Kardon amp plug and play

Friend of mine is giving me a Harmon Kardon amp from his 2014 F10 with the Harmon Kardon sound system. I already have upgraded speakers in my 2014 F10 so now I'm wondering if the amp is plug and play? Car originally has the 676 (Hifi sound system).

Interested as well, my F10 has the HiFi system was well, which I think sounds pretty solid with good base. I wonder how much better the HK system is over the HiFi. The B&O system that’s in my B8.5 Q5 is amazing, wish my F10 had that system over the HiFi

The Harman Kardon 677 or 688 system I think has more speakers and the music comes in via the MOST bus. Afraid its not plug and play.

Don't know the relation to the stadard HiFi to the Harman/Kardon system.
I recently had the chance to compare the 677 HK system in my F10 with the B&W in an F06. I have to admit the B&W has way better low tones. Don't get me wrong I think they are both to "bassy" but the low tones are just so much clearer on the B&W.

I read somewhere that the Harman Kardon power can be increased by way of BimmerCode Hidden Features. Not sure what gets increased but maybe it's similar to the engine power being governed by BMW holding back the maximum potential? I have to look into it further. Although, I have no problems with my sound system. As music is my best friend, the HK System kicks ass and I don't abuse it. I'm hoping, should I ever run out of gas, the hard driving bass sound can get me down the road?
