I was using BM3 and had the CEL turned off, so I cannot give you a good answer.

I would guess it would cause a CEL without additional tuning. The only catted DP that is guaranteed to not throw CEL is the FabSpeed with Hi Flow 200 Cell HJS Cat Elements, and they do not make one for the F10 535i platform.
