I’m pretty sure the oil/trans/diff/coolant/brake/steering fluids have been changed out numerous times.
However, if the blinker fluid is original, it should only go for $90k. |

My E90 started becoming a headache at 65k miles which is why I've only driven it 7k miles since. I understand this is isn't the norm so I'm not gonna bash all E90s. |

Wow so many negative comments about the car falling apart etc. I don't k ow how much it will sell for but for the buyer I wish him well and hope it sells as high as possible. For the right person this is a gem.

The person who bought this car for $170k probably consider the cost of rebuilding or replacing the vanos the same as we feel about paying for oil changes.
Think about it, most would try to spend that money on a new GT3 RS, this person used that money for a car they'll probably put in a garage with other cars they never drive.

Plastics and rubber age. I suspect many detractors assume a majority of the parts as original.

There wont be any issues, bc that car will never really be driven. Its a museum piece at that price point.

That's exactly what I was thinking! Imagine the nightmare that looming and just waiting for the next fool to take a drive. Madness and insanity. Loved these cars but no...just NO.

That's a nice looking car. The body style of the E39 aged extremely well compared to A6 and E-Class of that era.
If I had that kind of dough to blow, it would be on my list. |

for people talking about the car falling apart and driving performance. I highly doubt the car will be driven or a DD further, if someone drops 140k on this...they probably know what they are getting into and upkeep

Bloomberg wrote a good article on this car (without going into the details of the car itself), it interviewed the selling party. He conceded the value is mostly derived from the fact the car was put into a condom the moment it left the showroom floor. The pristine condition of this car is what made it unique. The moment someone starts driving this, expect the value to plummet.
