Good morning

So a few days ago my wife's car started leaving pil marks in the garage, I did a little investigation and realized the Drivers side cz boot was ripped pretty bad however the car is leaving oil on The garage and it's been days now, from that area is that still the cv boot? Do they Leak for that long? Thanks in advance I have had cv boots break before and I don't think I've ever had this much pil.om the ground

Oil and grease are two different things if your cv axle has a tear in it if it’s leaking grease it will literally sling all over your wheel well and make a huge mess in that area eventually it’ll stop but that means you will also lose most of the lubrication needed for your axle to work properly if it’s not making noise by now it surely will be by then you really should get that fixed sooner than later. As far as oil leaking if it is which I doubt sounds like your mixing that up with the axle grease maybe that’s a separate issue hard to diagnose over the internet

It's just crazy it started when the boot broke
