Need some input Are the rear bumpers the same of a 2013 and 2016 f10 primarily the area that is marked up? Looks like it to me with out looking at it in person. Found a non m diffuser looks like it will fit the 2016 bumper but wanted to double check.

Or when you go to https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select (or one of the other online part database sites like http://bimmercat.com or http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/ )...if you use the last 7 digits of your VIN to look up a diagram...when you find it...you can look in the TO/FROM column to see if a production date is listed. If none is listed it means that the part was used through out the production run for your model (and how it was optioned).
You can also click on the 11 digit BMW part nbr and the sites will list other BMW models that may use the same part. But do pay attention to supplemental info that is given. You may see option packages listed which asks if you have it (yes/no) and depending on if you have that option...the part may or may not be applicable. Lots of info can be garnered from using the online part database sites mentioned above. And remember that the rear bumper is probably different depending on which engine the f10 has. The f10/f11 I6s & V8s may have different exhausts which can make the rear bumper design slightly different...and you didn't mention any f10 model number...you just inquired by year.

Non-sport bumper covers will have to have the diffuser area cut out and the new diffuser grafted-in as the diffuser on non-sport covers is not replaceable. For sport bumpers changing the diffuser is easy-peasy.

I know that somewhere in those years there's a slight change on some body lines in the rear as well as some chrome trimmings around the reflector and diffuser area. but like mentioned above use those links for confirmation
