Come back when you do the real thing.
Pretty common experience for those of us who have done ED. I hit over 160MPH on my M3 Comp last time I did ED......she needed gas pretty fast when I did the drive to Austria and back

ezaircon4jc: Do you mean the electronic overhead signs? Speed limit and no passing (typically for trucks) signs that they dynamically turn on based on traffic and weather.
TTG: 160 mph is hard to come by, as most (regular) German cars come with factory-installed speed governors that kick in at 156 mph, but the M3 Competition probably doesn't have that. I test drove a Cadillac CTS-V on the Autobahn recently, that was "open" and could have done over 200 mph, but there wasn't enough room to go much more than 150 mph. 160+ is intense. |

I was almost out that way. My buddy at the NATO school invited me to visit; however, I was on a very tight schedule. Returned to CONUS. |

Unlike US, left lane is for passing only and passing on the right pretty much equals to Neg 1 driving violation in the US. Road itself is like a butter and designed for speed. We have nothing like those roads in the US. It is also super common to get flashed by things like Mercedes Sprinter Van, Volvo D5s & etc. This is most American's fail as they have no idea what is going on Then of course there are those 911s and super bikes...... just get the heck out of their way
