Stage 2, as in stage 2 turbos or stage 2 tune? Pretty big difference.

THAT I'VE SEEN- At PS2 power levels you don't really NEED to upgrade any engine internals. It's when you go big single turbo and want to tickle into the 600+ whp area that you may start seeing the limits of the stock internals (depending of course of what year N55 you have as BMW upgraded internals as the years went on).
There's certainly more qualified people than me to guide you in this, but from what I've seen most don't ever NEED to get into the internals. HPFP and LPFP are certainly in your to do list, as well as all the "usual" bolt-ons required for a stock turbo stage 2 tune (catless DP, upgraded IC, CP). Hopefully one of the big HP guys can chime in and lend a hand here. You may want to check out (purely for reference) slowspeed's channel on Youtube. Mike used to have an F10 and now has a 435i with a Big Boost turbo kit. He does a good job at detailing the hurdles he ran into going with this setup. He's trying to push the limits of the engine if that's what you're curious about

If you are doing this to a 4cyl, my biggest suggestion is to save the money and go buy a 535 because it will be a much better base and platform for you to tune. You still won't be happy in the end after all that work and paying for other supporting parts when N55s with simple tunes will still be faster.
