Thinking of changing... (Again!!)

so i'm again looking at upgrading my F10 msport LCI after changing my mind last time and sticking with the old girl...

The gov have ruined the chance of a new one with the £450 tax, so i need something over 1 1/2 years old but low miles etc... i'm intending on keeping for the long haul (maybe

So i really need a touring now and i have struggled without H&K, pro nav and extended Bluetooth... looking around i can pick up a couple of years old 530D for £25k ish which ticks pretty much all the boxes. However, if have noticed a few 535's popping up as well for a few quid more. Are they worth the extra, and would going from a 520 to a 535 disappoint me on the mpg return..

i think i will follow this through this time as mins due tyres/service etc, but which i go for who knows!!!

I went from a F10 pre-LCi 520d manual to a F10 535d LCi. The fuel consumption penalty was about 10%, a bit over 1p a mile. Worth every penny.

I had a F11 530d touring last year for a few weeks. Motorway runs it was averaging over 50mpg. Normal driving (town, between towns, commuting) it was 40mpg.

Quite remarkable economy for a big estate with 260hp and that much performance.
