We cannot answer how old everyone is that drives an F10. We can only answer how old each forum member is if everyone participates

Turned 39 on the day I bought my F10 - my goal was to get one before hitting 40...traded in my first car that I ever owned, a 1999 Honda Civic.

just turned 23 (got my F10 right when I turned 22). My first car was also a 5-series but cost about 1/20th the price of my current one (an 89 535i - fixed it up myself).
Worked in finance before, taking two years working with a nonprofit in education, likely returning to finance/Venture Capital in June once this two year commitment is over. Also manage some real estate. With US lease rates, driving a 5-series isn't really all that impractical (~5-600/month vs. what, 2-300 than a more "normal" vehicle? - boils down to a minor difference in rent in a lot of cities. That said, I did also buy a house leading people to believe that I'm crazy). Another practical point for young drivers, particularly males, is that insurance rates are the same or lower on a 5-series vs. 3-series and much lower for a 535 than an M3. This is a major point when even with a perfect driving record auto insurance can balloon to several hundred a month (mine is $120 which is expensive but reasonable enough). |

44. The age doesn't matter, the mileage does.

29. Bought my 535i MSport at 28 and it is my first BMW. Bought a 2014 X3 35i for my wife this past June; same age for her and also her first BMW.
