Looks like it has gotten worse with the update. I'm using the latest version (5.0.9). I reinstalled the app.

- All my notifications and messages are not showing up.

- All posts are marked as read.

- When posting to a thread (for example this one) it says I'm not logged in even though I am. I had to reply using the browser.

This new iteration is a significant user experience improvement - definitely moving the needle in the right direction. I appreciate the challenge of such a large overhaul and understand we'll have some bugs to fix, but I think you have laid the groundwork for a significantly improved app. Congrats on going live.

First, the new app is a nice leap forward in look, feel, and user experience! Well done! Now, let's keep up the run to the finish line.

Second, can you organize this thread better and list in the first post what version is the latest and what it shoukd address etc.? And along with that, please list issues already reported. In don't know whether what I'm about to post as issues have already neen addressed and/or reported by someone and don't want to to read 7 pages to find out.

And now, for my issues...
Samsung S21, app version 5.0.5
1. The white app background looks nice, but has two usability issues:
a. Native Android navigation buttons are white as well and not visible at the bottom, so the back button cannot be easily used for navigation back and others can be mistakenly touched and one ends up on phone home screen.
b. The bright background is not great for browsing in the dark/at night.
Solution would be a user-selectable dark theme.

2. Classifieds posts do not show the price, shipping etc header, which the desktop site has. So, many classifieds discussions refer to price being posted, but it cannot be seen in the app.

3. Notifications section count is inaccurate. But this has already been mentioned and worked on.

4. The edit post doesn't work for me. When I edit post and hit the post button, the button just spins and it never stops and my edit is not saved. That is why I am adding this new post after I tried to edit some typos above.

Dark mode is coming, but it's a ton of work so it's being worked on in pieces, it's about 10% done.

We thought about releasing it incrementally each day as we add more pieces to it, but realized that people will just complain more that it's broken, and I would totally understand that, so we'd rather wait until it's about 85% ready.

The edit post bug was fixed in a later version, you are on an "old" version 😂. I kid of course, but there were like 5 updates yesterday so it feels old to me now. Try the latest version and see if edits start working for you.

Yes, I just appreciated your post above via app without problems.
My subscriptions show up as well.
I have automatic updates for apps turned on, so let's see when I get the newest one. I will go get it if it doesn't come today.

Hi I cant log in with version 5.0.13 Samsung s20 plus on latest Android. It recognises if you put in the incorrect password but just getting the spinning blue icon when pressing Log in with the correct password.
Have uninstalled completely a few times now.

Ok, I just issued a version 5.0.14 which I believe might solve your problem, try it out and let me know if its any better?

It might take another 30 mins before it shows up in your local play store 👏

I thought the old app was good, but I also don't mind the layout of the new version.

Issues I'm experiencing with new version (using andriod v10 and app v5.0.15 - I just updated the app from the original release)
1) Despite logging in to the app (credentials are accepted) anytime I try and post a comment (existing or new threads) I am not allowed. I get an error stating I am not logged in -_-

2) My forums list is empty, none of my existing forums and subscriptions transferred from the old app. I cannot resave any forums; when I tap the heart it says saved, but my forums is still empty.

3) When reading a thread I don't see "OP" tag next to messages from the original poster.

4)I don't see any of the app emoji I used to when writing a post.
