I ordered the 550 in the dark gray metalic (A90), this is that color, correct? have been looking at the BMW website and cannot locate any definitive answers.

That is the color of the 550i in this thread, I ordered it too. It is called Sophisto Gray in Europe/UK and it is called Dark Graphite Metallic in the U.S. Both are the same color and are color code A90. The problem is most seem to refer to it, even in the U.S., as Sophisto Gray, that is where it is confusing. BMW should have kept the Sophisto Gray name everywhere to lessen the confusion.
