Liqui Moly Cera Tec

Bought a 2014 535i, I've done downpipe and charge pipe. I'm about to do a MHD tune. What I'd like to know is, do any of you add Liqui Moly Cera Tec to your engine when you change the oil or just do the oil without additives.
I wasn't able to find anything in a search.

If you're already Using Liqui Moly as your Engine oil, I've been reading from other Members in different Series in the forums, there isn't significant benefit if you are using the Liqui Moly Engine oil Combined with the Ceratec, (More so with Molygen) I thought of it too, I have not used Ceratec, which states increased film protection and reduces engine friction and states it can improve fuel economy, should you use it, you really don't have to use it every oil change, unless you were using lower quality oil, BMW User manual says do not use additives. Just use a Top quality Oil IMO and change it more often around 3-5k Miles, with your tune, you'll be golden. Save your money for the better oil as the oil will have the additives and more than what you need for your N55. Since I owned my car, I did one Engine flush, and my oil changes have so far been only using Liqui moly Engine oil. Once the Engine is nice and warmies, open up the throttle and start the boost on that Borg Warner Twin Scroll and feel Adrenaline and the stomach butterflies, gets me everytime.

I used a Liqui Moly engine flush and used 5w30 European formula Castrol Edge for my first oil change a couple days ago. I'm just wondering if I should add the additive to this oil.

I would suggest on your next Oil change, so you can balance the differences! it won't hurt to try it if you use the Castrol Oil on your next interval. Or use the Molygen next time.

Rgr. I've got 5W40 Castrol for the next change and I'll add it to that. I'll look into Liqui Moly oil also.

Do you use Mann oil filters?

I use a 0w40 Liqui Moly due to my area below freezing temps and my car being mostly kept outside in those temperatures in the winter. Nice cold start protection. a little pricy however very worth it.
