2016 535i

Hi there I've just got a 2016 535i 70k miles for my wife, she loves it and it drives smooth no complaint a very crisp ride.

But it makes this very strange vibrating sort of feeling or noise in the cabin when the car is running with the A/C compressor on. Of course with heating these days even it’s in idle position or under accelerating and costing.

The sound goes away when I switch the AC off.

What could it be? I've been trying to find an answer around this forum with no luck.

Thank you.🙏

My bet is the foam at the HVAC blower motor. It's a pretty easy fix, maybe 2 out of 5 wrenches, IMHO. You can buy the whole assembly for ~$50, or do what I did and buy the replacement foam (eBay) for ~$15 and hot glue it in.
