unless you're running under 10s fire jacket not needed lol.. leave all the heavy stuff at home (weight saving)

no need to pre-register

badblack550xi and ARC550 can recommend tire psi , fuel tank level and rest of fuel .

You can add fuel wires today , tomorrow or friday

Yeah, you are right, I could do it at the track actually. I will bring a 10 mm wrench for battery, hex kit and a good light for under hood. Maybe run once with no wires and then add wires and put some race fuel in.

A buddy of mine said they required fire jacket, helmet and extinguisher for insurance concerns so that was why I asked about it. I will be happy to see 12's low and should get that with the setup I have

Do you guys have a meet up point? My car is pretty easy to spot, very unique car. Silver, black bbs Dinan rims, carbon fiber galor. Wish to hell my engine cover was finished by my shop.

I am going to put the donut tire in the trunk for spare as full size weighs 40 or 50 lbs

What time are mist peopl going? I work till 5:30 but could take off a bit early if people are meeting earlier than 7 ish

Keep PSI at 43 in all tires, 1/4 fuel tank mix in some race fuel usually available at the track.

Ok, thank you for the information. I was planning on running a pass with the race fuels disconnected and then another with them connected and race fuel added. Would like to see what the difference is between the two. I will be bringing a light, 10 mm socket for battery and star drive set for ECU.

What time is everyone going? I have to work till 5:30 so I wont be down till 6-7 PM. Is there a meetup point for this event?

Car will be too hot to mess around engine wires, if i were you do it while engine is cold in day light

Meet up location looks convenient for folks in NYC and North Nj, you're coming from PA maybe check out my thread in X5M guys like Djvolume coming from Philly

I also see we need helmets The 2016 Raceway Park season is about to get started, do you have the proper safety equipment?
Be sure to check that snell sticker on you old helmet because NHRA rules for 2016 state that "any car running 14.00 and quicker in the 1/4 mile requires a Snell 2005 or newer OR SFI 41.1A helmet (see complete list below)". Also a new NHRA rule in 2008 requires that "any car running 9.99 or quicker in the 1/4 mile requires an NHRA approved FULL face helmet with visor.employment SMALL.jpg

I bought mine on Ebay, Snell2015 at least its good till 2025.
As long as its Snell 2010 you're fine, just dont pay over $140 for Snell2010 since mine (open face) costed under $200

At first they say helmets are not rentable and the they say it IS rentable...

Is a helmet required?
YES! All racers in the state of NJ are required to wear a helmet. Racers running slower than 14.00 seconds may use a rental helmet. Racers 13.99 and quicker must use a Snell rated helmet (minimum Snell-2005.) These are not available for rent, but are for sale in the souvenir store, or at various racing and motorcycle outlets. Rental helmets are $5 (valid driver’s license left as collateral – be sure to bring tech card with you.)

Personally, I need a helmet anyways, so I am going to buy one this week.

Ok, race fuel wires installed, and bcm module installed. Interesting side effect is that that some jolting I would experience running map two on 93 octanehas gone away since I installed bcm and race fuel wires. Looking forward to meaning you all on Friday

Paid $150 for my Snell 2015 open face helmet
They don't rent helmets? thats odd every track has to rent them and i've rented from them before.

Not sure on the headcount from F10's but so far I know elg0rd0yadigg is coming ARC550 in his M6 or X5
Maybe badblack550xi too ?

We have some X5M's going, M235 w/ Enzo Big Turbo Luminous, other M235's , 335, 340, possibly 1x 435 Pure Stg2, and M3
