DPF Removal and smoke

Anyone remapped and removed the dpf while leaving the CATs intact and notice any smoke/soot build up on exhaust tips/ bumper?

looking to get mine done and was wondering if there is much smoke as result.

Thanks

Removing the dpf, means soot on the bumper.

How bad depends on the tune.

My 335d would soot even with the dpf on during regens. Don’t ask about my power joke 7.3.,,, But that one doesn’t smoke, no dpf.
