19"-20" undecided

I have a 12, 528i xdrive and looking to u upgrade my wheels. Now im on the fence on 19" or 20" non staggered. I had a specific wheel but only to find out it doesn't come in 20" biggest is 19". Im opting to go for the 19" and get a drop H&R springs to close the gap. Im asking if anyone has an xdrive with 19" with dropped springs trying to see the end results. im still looking for other wheels of my liking in 20" but im in NYC and a 35 side wall is to low of a profile dealing with all the potholes we have and the handling of the 20" if any pics or advice would greatly be appreciated

If you're in NYC, going with 20's is asking to get some bent/cracked rims. Just get 19's. My buddy drove over one of those steel plates they love throwing on the ground and bent all four rims on his 20's. I'm in JC and the roads are already bad enough.

Hey man, i also have a 2012 528i dropped on h&r springs, however i have 20 inch rims. I live in NJ but i've been mostly okay with the rims. Havent had any crazy issues. Here are pics to give you some type of idea of the drop as well as how it would look with just a little more sidewall.

Haha love this lip. Are you running a splitter under the lip? Was thinking about running a splitter as im about the get the lip repainted and that way I could keep the lip in better shape for longer and it would look a little more aggressive.

Yup, looks like they stopped supporting BMW in general. Their website only lists like 8 support vehicles. Shame.

Wow this one looks nice. Could you link me this? The only issue I have is that it doesn't go around the sides completely. I was thinking of making a splitter as I've seen a lot of people on youtube that made their own and they look pretty nice.

I agree NYC has craters sometimes, but I think 20s are the way to go.
