I'm looking to buy a Bmw f10 550 but not sure if I should get xdrive or not. I live in New York. My opinion is that rwd 550 would be fun to have & to do burnouts & etc

I would get the Xi honestly.
RWD is no fun when your spinning.

I plan to get the XI version of the m5 when it comes out next year.

I'm not saying I want a 550 to do burnouts but right now I have an 535xi & I miss having a lil wheel spin fun sometimes

I don't think the xdrive will be very good for any kind of burnouts or wheel spinning, it seems extremely planted and would be tough to break traction since the system will divert power to wheels that aren't spinning.

I chose xDrive and have no regrets, car is super planted at all times. Handy when using launch control every now and then!
