So when I bought my 2012 535 I knew I wanted some cool wheels. After driving it the way I do I knew that the braking system was subpar. After doing some research I decided I wanted to go with the M5 brakes. But I’m not one to just bolt something on. I want to make it look and function better. Here’s some work in progress pictures when I got my brakes and what they look like now. I have a few more things I need to get before I can both of mine but I’m super excited how they’ve come out. I did a lot of metal reshaping and cleaning up both the front and rear calipers. I realize that I’m not as excited about the rears, but I will take pictures of them because the most amount of work did actually go into them.

Thanks it’s in the body shop right now getting a fresh M sport bumper installed and my carbon fiber hood painted and installed. Somebody backed into the bumper in a parking lot and punched a little dime size hole.

The rear calipers look great, lots of work getting rid of that cast iron finish. Why did the fronts need so much work? We’re they in rough shape, or did you just want to smooth them out?
What color paint is that? Looks quite a bit brighter than the original blue. Looking good! |

The front weren’t horrible at all but still time to get them nice and smooth as shown.
It’s a custom Powdercoat color 👍
