Hello,

I would assume that everyone is aware of the stupid design of the Blower housing of F10 chassis and especially the coarser/foam filter which dissolves after 15k miles.

I had a spare housing and upgraded it with a durable net. It's designed to work with a foam filter or without. If you install this housing, probably you will not be going to buy another housing again as long you have the car.

Are you running your with out filter. I have a lot of leafs in my area.

Yes running with filters, otherwise you have to way to filter the air or smells. With this fix you won't have an issue in a future.

Just be mindful that if you already have the fan noise this will not fix the issue. You will need to pull the blower motor out and clean out the debris. After doing such this cover will prevent debris from collecting again.

not necessarily, i was able to use vacuum to suck the debris

$45 standard with a foam that eventually will deteriorate and you will be facing same situation.
Swapping the cover and cleaning the debris is not easiest job you don't want to do it every 2-3 years or less depending where you live.
Here in Houston the heat and the fact you constantly running AC drastically shortens the life of the foam.
