Hoping to get some insight on my cars codes. I recently had the car recalled for the egr cooler last October 2022 and now I’m back at bmw trying to get these codes resolved which I believe are from the egr cooler failing.

I had the intake manifold, intake valves, egr valve, throttle body all cleaned and serviced when I had these codes and they still haven’t cleared. Now I’m stuck at it being the egr cooler. I ran an ista test that showed the egr cooler being at 33.2% efficient (well below the severe sooting level according to ista). Looking at the egr cooler it’s wet, clumpy and full of soot only after a year.

BMW dealership is giving me the runaround regarding diagnostic and trying to charge me to keep diagnosing the problem when I specifically asked for them to look at the egr cooler. Has anyone had the egr cooler replaced more then once and how did you get them to replace it again?
