How to fix errors on F10 ?

Hello Everyone
I have a F10 and I recently installed M5 Gear shifter and Center Console. Everything works fine but car gives these errors. No problem in terms of functionability. Anyone has an idea how to fix it ? or anyone who can help me in South Florida ?

Probably some kind of coding feature. I can't really help though, I haven't coded anything yet.

Yes, I think car needs some coding but I dont know how to. Maybe I should overwrite the part numbers on the computer but i dont know how to.

I think this is beyond basic coding that most of the community is familiar with. You are trying to retrofit incompatible hardware. As others may have told you, you will need to rewire the shifter as the wiring between the DCT shifter and the Automatic Shifter is different. You are getting errors because of this difference, and it isn't a simple coding fix because the F10 Non-M5 doesn't get the DCT as a factory option. Looking at your pictures you would at least have to disable the automatic hold option as the DCT shifter doesn't have that, and you are getting that error because the car can't find that button.

If it were me, and I cared enough, I would actually retrofit the DCT shifter onto the automatic shifter as that's just a hardware change and shouldn't need coding. You will have to blank the automatic hold switch but it can be done.

There is additional wiring differences and an added connector on the DCT shifter. Better option is to retrofit the SAT shifter.. Otherwise, you'll be stuck with errors and also lose functionality of the electronic parking brake and auto hold feature
